Verification in practice by us personally in 2025, Dnipropetrovsk region 04/27/2025 - 05/05/2025

After frost, winter wheat was treated with a combined non-standard tank mixture (recipe below). Photo diagnostics as of today (as of May 5, 2025): local frosts from 0 to -3…-4*С and from -4 to -6*С, respectively (from 27.04 to 28.04 and from 1.05 to 2.05) in the ear differentiation phase (3-4 internodes) in different areas of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

MANDATORY!!!
1) Conducting diagnostics of the ear condition: in farms from each field, select 20–25 plants from the technological tracks, diagonally) cut the stem along with a clerical knife to assess the condition of the ear embryo (color/general appearance).

Interpretation of results:
•    The embryo is green / light green / light green / pale green. TREATMENT IS EXPEDITED!!! We introduce an anti-stress tank mixture, which is:

  • an antioxidant, cryo-, thermo-, heat protector, adaptogen at the cellular level, inhibits peroxidation, protects cells from oxidative stress, stabilizes membranes (this is PPP "AKM");
  • necessary for the synthesis of enzymes and hormonal regulation of growth, activates the restoration of the ear structure (this is "EndoZinc");
  • by ensuring the activity of enzymes of redox metabolism, especially polyphenol oxidases, it promotes the formation of new cells (this is "EndoMid").

That is, in "simpler" language, when there is a sharp decrease in temperature in the midst of active vegetation, globulins (complex proteins) are destroyed, the content of abscisic acid increases and the hormonal background of the plant sharply decreases.

The formation of protein is influenced by three chemical elements: copper, zinc, manganese. They form the triplet of a complex protein.

PPP "AKM" (0.5 l / ha) + BS "EndoMid" (0.48 kg / ha) + BS "EndoZinc" (0.48 kg / ha).
The working solution rate is 100 l / ha.

Regions where there will be prolonged frosts until 10-11.05, add magnesium sulfate 6-8 kg / ha to the tank mixture.
Magnesium is the central element of the chlorophyll molecule, necessary for photosynthesis and energy metabolism.
Urea CANNOT be added!!! 

•    The germ is light green-white with a slight yellowish tint at the tip. It is also advisable to apply the above mixture. This is a borderline condition, and the plant can still restore ear productivity. 

•    The germ is red / reddish / black. DO NOT TREAT! This is a complete defeat - treatment will not give an effect.

             

          

2) Features of the leaf apparatus:
•    If the upper leaves are green, twisted and pointed or NOT GREEN (have a red, reddish, gray or discolored edge) DO NOT PANIC!!! This is the result of a combination of short-term drought with night frosts of –4…–6°C.
After stabilization of the temperature and precipitation, the leaves on the backgrounds of the tank mixture (21-24 days) will unfold on their own. Under the worst soil and climatic conditions, the backgrounds will keep the iron culture for 16-18 days.

         

This scheme has been tested in the field, provides maximum efficiency in the “window” up to 72 hours after freezing, and allows saving up to 60% of potentially weakened but still viable spikelets.
